effin' comcast. I was tuning in to watch CFH when I discovered that they took away my TechTV and put a spanish channel in its place! THEN, they move TechTV to a higher channel and make it a premium channel that I would have to pay *more* for! asterpharmacy.com

¡¿qué la cogida?!

Sorry, Chris. I love ya, but I hate the networks and cable companies. Grr.

NEWS FLASH! 15:32: OMG! He blew the taco stand!

Heh... typical. I'm not surprised they'd do that. On a related note, we just canceled our digital cable yesterday (we only had it for the TechTV reason) and are sticking with the expanded basic.

I'm almost tempted to do that same thing. I fear that this is going to happen to a lot of channels that I like. Not like we watch a lot of TV to begin with...

S'okay... I dropped digital cable the other day. Wasn't worth the hassle / expense.

DirecTV is the answer. I love love love love these guys. My TV bill is slightly less than Comcast, and I get two tuners worth of TiVo. Heaven.

Agreeing with Tom. Satellite has been the best here in the sticks. Not only because where I currently live there is not cable option, but also because the rates are decent for the amount you get, including TechTV.

Damn evil cable companies!

I'm another "LOVE MY DirecTV" commenter. We were forced to get it when we first moved here -- Time Warner hadn't yet gone digital in our area, when we had been in a special test-market area in St. Pete that got *every* bell and whistle first and cheap. They finally offer all the fancy Time Warner stuff up here two years later, and we laugh at them when they solicit us. Once we went to DirecTV we never looked back. There's just no comparison for price, no matter what their commercials try to say.

That sux! My cable co. doesn't even have tech tv, not even on digital cable. So we got satellite and can get it there. But that sux that they not only make u pay extra for it, but do so AFTER letting u have it as part of an existing package. I hate cable companies. I"m on the board of our homeowner's association and I could tell you stories about how awful a cable company can be. Bummer.

Now that Chris is gone there is no reason to upgrade your cable. ;)

Chris is gone, and nobody cares about how he's holding up? Look at his recent blogs! They show that he;s obviously unstable! AGH!

assumptions will get you nowhere.

WTF??? Where the f*** did Chris go? HE GOT FIRED, HUH???? Oh BTW, I can agree. SATELLITE IS MUCH BETTER THAN CABLE!
