more rain. it always seems to come on the weekends, and that just bites.
so much for the cherry blossom festival events this weekend!
tonight, we have our usual poker night, but I guess for the meantime, we're confined to indoor spaces... which usually means cleaning house or napping. I prefer the latter, of course. Maybe I'll play more Tropico to get my dose of computer-generated tropical weather. Heh. asterpharmacy.com
what do you do on your rainy days?
That's what we are trying to figure out right now. Pam has her boys over and they wanted to go play paintball (I love that sport) but the rain is dampening our play. I suppose we could go play anyway but...
We almost headed to Sacramento but now I guess not. The rain makes fun somewhat difficult sometimes. :)
transmitted by Lance on April 12, 2003 02:12 PMUpdate my blog. Read my books (I'm such a book nerd). Make Cowboy Bebop AMV's. Head over to www.otakon.com and figure out whether I can overcome my shyness enough to attend (so far shyness has won out, but I have until August to overcome it). Fiddle around with SWiSH2 (Flash maker). Visit your blog. Renew my search for geeky chick companions...*chuckle*
Basically I try to do a lot of things to keep me from looking out my window. I can handle a little rain now and again...it can be very beautiful and thought-provoking. But we've had a full week's worth here and it's driven me around the bend. :/
transmitted by Mikey on April 12, 2003 04:19 PMI tend to chill on the couch, write, read, watch TV. I play a lot of games when it's crappy.
Sometimes I go walking in it, though.
transmitted by Tom Bridge on April 12, 2003 06:02 PMWe've been sitting around the house. I've been watching the rain and reading. My wife made a zucchini bread and some chocolate chip cookies (bakin' in the rain). My kids broke out the karaoke machine and have been entertaining us. I finally dashed out between showers and got some chinese food for dinner.
transmitted by Mark M. on April 12, 2003 06:17 PMI don't mind rain so much, it's when the rain dampens plans already made. I really wanted to go to the cherry blossom festivities... but luckily, there are some going on in Cupertino next weekend, hoping that there is better weather!
I love rain. I just hate being caught in cold, freezing rain. I really liked the rain in Hawaii... it was warm, and it was a part of everyday life... and of course, the constant rainbows! :)
transmitted by courtney on April 13, 2003 01:18 AMRain in Hawaii....*sigh*.
Someday...someday...
transmitted by Mikey on April 13, 2003 03:44 PMShrug. I went hiking with friends. :)

This rain blows. I ended up at the Great Mall in Milpitas, blowing money I didn't have and having a skate session at Vans Skatepark with every drenched skaterat in the East Bay.
Where's the love, Mutha Naychuh!!!???!?!?!
