who else hasn't done their taxes yet?

I swear, I never put them off... I guess that the whole freelancing/contracting/two-state-filing thing is scaring me this year. canadadrugpharmacy.com

I know what I'm doing tomorrow...

I did my federal taxes as soon as I got my W2s, but I have yet to do my state taxes...I'm too much of a procrastinator.

I've been putting them off - tomorrow is the day of reckoning... :-(

I did them as soon as I got my W-2's...for a change. Mainly because I had already decided to use whatever refund I got to buy a new computer.

Motivation is key. :D

Side Note: Holy cow! I just noticed you have Lain on the entrance to your site (usually I come directly to this blog). If I didn't live all the way on the other coast you'd definitely be the type of person I hung out with. *chuckle*

It's Sunday night, and guess where my better half is right now? Upstairs screaming "where is that form?!?!" while hovering over TaxCut software. We are so disorganized and we just don't plan. LOL.

Best thing I ever did: get a big box and mark it 'tax junk' then throw any huge amount of receipts, forms, etc into it. then when the W-2's come, I go to an accountant and say: "Here." Paying $250 to have my taxes done works out like this:

1) TaxCut or TurboTax ($29)
2) 3 hours of my time (@75/hr) = 225
3) Knowing that you haven't missed anything: (Priceless)

And on the plus side: the first 3 years that I had an accountant do my taxes, he's saved me (or gotten me refunds) of over 10k(total) that I wouldn't have gotten.

I could never be an accountant... no way.

is it over yet?

Finally got mine in on the 15th. But I have really good excuses, really I do. My tax stuff was lost in the move and was found in the back of the downstairs closet under a stack of magazines.

Let's see if HTML works in your comments. Here's my Taxes Post.
