Woo! local news on the Warchalking site: Borrowing Bandwidth in San Jose, CA.

...suddenly I was surfing at blazing speeds (~2200kbps according to http://webservices.cnet.com/Bandwidth/)...
Just in case anyone is interested in their locations, the first one was the Olive West Apartments in Sunnyvale and the other is CountryBrook off of North Capitol Avenue. Happy surfing!!!

I was anxious to find some local access points. Wooo! Maybe I've just been too lazy to try and warwalk this area. I think it's more wardriving 'round these parts anyway. I prefer to walk. SF was a much better place to do it.

That is just geeky beyond words. I love it!

I pick up 2 different signals right at my desk here at work. They're weak because I think they're coming from a server area on the floors beneath me. A few minutes meandering around downtown San Jose and you should have quite a bit of success. A possible weekend jaunt? canadadrugstop.com

Unfortunately I don't have my own laptop, or else I would try this around here. :/ It would look rather silly if I tried lugging this desktop around town...not that I've ever been worried about how I look. :D

That sounds like fun. In FL. it'd have to be warDRIVING as well. You can't really walk around many places, at least in my area. :)
