There's now a dimple in the outer shell my Powerbook's display.
I'm clumsy. Either that, or the Apple gods are not shining on me this week.
I wonder if I can find another excuse to send this baby into AppleCare Service again, so they could maybe fix this...? neomeds.net
Battle scars - adds character! I gots me a few dings from Macworld that I'll forever associate with Macworld! I'm sentimental that way...
transmitted by Mike on January 23, 2003 10:35 AMI have enough battle scars on my iBook that I care to think about, and its only ::sigh:: 6 months old. My bottle shell has been replaced (thanks to soda)

Oh yeah, I forgot, it's an Apple.....

transmitted by 2465 on January 23, 2003 01:58 PMwhat are you trying to say about mac users?!?!
transmitted by mike on January 23, 2003 02:25 PM2465 is saying that some people value their Macs more for their asthetic value than their value as a computer.
Present company excepted of course. You all use Macs because of the leet Mach core OS, X11 compatibility, and the one button mouse. :)
transmitted by michael on January 23, 2003 03:58 PMthanks michael :)
I scoff at the one button mouse, tho...
transmitted by courtney on January 23, 2003 04:05 PMI like love macs. Loved them since System 5. Will continue to love them for life. Yet I only owned one when OSX came out, this is because I finally got a job and could afford to purchase a computer.
Once I got my mac I kicked my windows PC to the side.
transmitted by mike on January 23, 2003 06:23 PMMacs are a beautiful thing, next time you see a mac and a pc next to each other, think which company can say they love what they made, I don't think that cow company can say that, the cheaper they are the less we have to spend fixing them. peace and aloha
