Interested in learning some Japanese? I'm taking a class this quarter, and DANG, is it challenging. I've had to look for some outside help. Luckily, there's plenty of it on the ol' Inter-Neat. rx-med.net
Mad props to Single Brain Cell Software for creating such simple but cool learning software for Japanese language students that runs in OS X.
There's a Hiragana & Katakana app (the most indispensable one for me!), Vocab, and Kanji. Awesome.
:(
i'm so bummed i had to drop Japanese. i mean, it's not like i was threatened with a hot poker or anything. i *could've* continued on.
ah well. hope you're having fun. :)
ain't OSX cool?
(hmm. you probably shouldn't ask *me* that right now, actually ... grrrr ... i think we just found a *huge* bug in Carbon today ... )

You should still learn Japanese on your own! We're actually using the "Japanese for Busy People" series in my intro class. But yeah, the structure of a classroom environment helps.
I'm having fun with OS X so far... my Ti still runs 9.2.2 a majority of the time, tho.
