The spirit of Aloha lives on in an employee of the Radisson Waikiki Prince Kuhio. A hotel employee, recently named Employee of the Year, donated a kidney to one of his customers! xlpharmacy.com

The gentleman was in need of a kidney transplant. He had told Jose that he had a rare blood type and this made it highly unlikely that a matching donor would be found in time.

The people of Hawai'i never cease to amaze. I miss 'em. :)

I think I may have already asked you this, but where did you live in Hawaii?

I spent 6 years in Waipahu, Oahu.

How long ago was it that you were there? I was in Waipahu when it was still pretty darn underdeveloped, oh, 12 ears ago. ;)

heh... well, I was there for a couple of months when I was I think 12 years old (figure about 12-13 years ago), and then we lived there for about 3-4 years from '98-02.
